Frequently asked questions about Straumann®
Do EFF components fit Straumann® implants?
Yes. The S.M.P. systems J3.1, J3.4 reproduce the connection and platform of the RN Ø4.8 (synOcta®), Bone Level RC Ø4.1 lines from Straumann®, in medical-grade titanium with CE marking.
What torque should I apply to components compatible with Straumann®?
The documented torques for these systems are 32 Ncm, 20 Ncm. Always use a calibrated torque wrench and follow the clinical case protocol.
Are the components original Straumann®?
No. They are compatible EFF components, manufactured independently. Straumann® is a registered trademark of its manufacturer and has no connection with EFF Dental Ibérica.
Is there a mini abutment compatible with Straumann®?
Yes. The Regular Platform Mini Abutment (M.P system) sits on the intermediate abutment and offers the full prosthetic and CAD/CAM line, with a prosthetic torque of 10 Ncm.
