What is a mini abutment?
It is an intermediate abutment screwed to the implant that creates a shared prosthetic platform, enabling multiple screw-retained restorations with controlled parallelism and better access for hygiene.
What torque should be used on the Regular Platform Mini Abutment?
Prosthetic and CAD/CAM components over the Mini Abutment are screwed at 10 Ncm. The mini abutment is fitted to the implant with the torque indicated for the corresponding system: 20 Ncm on Morse taper systems (A3.1, A3.2, K3.2, J3.4) and 32 Ncm on external hex/tri-channel systems (K1.2, K2.2, J3.1).
Is it compatible with my implant system?
The Regular Platform Mini Abutment sits on an intermediate abutment. Straight and angled mini abutments are available for the K3.2, K1.2, K2.2, A3.1, A3.2, J3.1 and J3.4 systems, covering the main brands on the Iberian market.
What is the difference between straight and angled mini abutments?
The straight one is used when the implant axis is favourable. The 17° and 30° angled versions correct axis divergences, keeping the restoration screw-retained without compromising aesthetics.
