Frequently asked questions about DSP®
Do EFF components fit DSP® implants?
Yes. The S.M.P. systems A3.1, K1.2 reproduce the connection and platform of the Cone Morse, Hexágono Externo lines from DSP®, in medical-grade titanium with CE marking.
What torque should I apply to components compatible with DSP®?
The documented torques for these systems are 20 Ncm, 32 Ncm. Always use a calibrated torque wrench and follow the clinical case protocol.
Are the components original DSP®?
No. They are compatible EFF components, manufactured independently. DSP® is a registered trademark of its manufacturer and has no connection with EFF Dental Ibérica.
Is there a mini abutment compatible with DSP®?
Yes. The Regular Platform Mini Abutment (M.P system) sits on the intermediate abutment and offers the full prosthetic and CAD/CAM line, with a prosthetic torque of 10 Ncm.
